The “Dancing Inmates” from the Cebu Provincial Detention and Rehabilitation Center in the Philippines have been hard at work learning a new Michael Jackson dance tribute to share with the world. For those of you that may not be familiar with these guys… They are literally inmates at the maximum security prison in the Philippines that were propelled to fame in 2007 when a Youtube video of them performing Michael Jackson’s “Thriller” went viral on the Internet.
This time around, the “smooth criminals” are performing a tribute to MJ’s “This Is It” concert and were actually visited by MJ’s long-time choreographer, Travis Payne, who helped them learn the new choreography that would have been featured in Michael’s “This Is It” comeback tour. Wow, what an honored that must have been for them. Travis‘ visit obviously really paid off for the “Dancing Inmates” because their new performance is nothing short of amazing!
